Reducing our CO2 emissions with production facilities in 4 countries - close to the markets and close to you

At DAFA, we combine decades of experience with a fundamental principle of sustainability in all our business decisions.

Our goal is to reduce our CO2 emissions with 50% by 2025 by production hour. One way of doing this is minimizing emissions associated with the transportation of goods and services. Therefore, by having production units in 4 countries and prioritizing locally sourced raw materials, we can limit our environmental impact.

DAFA is located in 8 countries worldwide and has production facilities in Denmark, Italy, Poland, and China. Our global supply chain allows us to take care of our customers’ local and global requirements, and, therefore, we deliver efficiently and competitively all over the world.

A vital advantage of manufacturing closer to our customers is that we can limit the carbon emissions associated with the transportation of solutions to our customers.

Furthermore, emissions occurring from the transportation from our suppliers are also limited, as we actively strive to source locally. During the first three quarters of 2021, the entire DAFA Group, on average, managed to locally source 81.5% of the raw materials used for our solutions. Our goal is for 90% of DAFA’s raw materials to stem from local sourcing by 2025.

Furthermore, our new and optimized way of stacking goods on pallets further contributes to limiting emissions during transportation. We are now able to exploit the space even better and ship more entities at once. You can read more about our new way of stacking goods on pallets here.

Therefore, with production facilities in 4 countries and being close to our customers, we are able to limit emissions and reduce our environmental impact.
