DAFA rafter shoe collar

Rafter shoe collars are used in 1½-story homes around collar beams and similar rafter structures to ensure optimal sealing at the vapor barrier.

The adhesive is specially made for laminating PE and PP vapor barriers. The included vapor barrier tape is a single-sided tape for sealing the vapor barrier.

Collars are mounted simply, quickly and securely over the rafters and finished at the bottom with vapor barrier tape. Collars have adhesive on both sides, offering a myriad of installation options.

Material

The product is a 2K-cast plastic collar with a flexible sealing lip. The 2K casting process (multicomponent casting) ensures an optimal airtight join between the two materials. The collar has double adhesive on both sides.
